Under Construction but looking better

The pool company is pouring the concrete today!! Yay!!

Shouldn't be long before we're enjoying the pool again.

Perfect timing, the weather is starting to warm up.

My addiction...

I realized last night laying in bed that I am addicted to photoshop. I always knew that I had a very strong attachment to it, I could spend hours reading tutorials and trying new things but now I dream about editing photos and then when I wake up, I lie there thinking about the features and settings that I could try. I think it has gone way too far... anytime something interrupts my sleep, it's a problem!!

We have a TOOTH!!

Saturday afternoon Grant and I were playing with Colton and noticed that he has a tooth!! Our little man is growing up so fast!

She hits... she runs... and she SCORES!!

Shelbie did so great at her game, she scored twice and LOVED it!! I loved seeing how excited she was!! The Screaming Eagles won 12-2!!

Hippity Hop...

Easter was great this year. The kids colored eggs and got new bathing suits in their baskets, then we had dinner with Nanna, Pops and Googatwo. It was a good day!

Under Construction!!

We were blessed with the wonderful Home Buyers Tax Credit this year so we decided to put the money into the pool and back yard!! What a mess we've created! Grant had fun tearing up the backyard with the mini-excavator and we paid it forward and gave our brick to brick needy people. We had brick for DAYS!!

Happy Half Birthday Colton!!

Colton just turned 6 months and is such a handsome little man.

He doesn't roll or crawl just yet but he's sitting like a champ. I think his pudgy belly helps him sit up well.

Colton is teething and can be quite the bear at times but overall, he's dealing with the discomfort well. I was really hoping that he would wait until after his first birthday to get his teeth but no such luck. We may just have to get him a mouth guard to keep those sharp little teeth from biting mommy!! Ouch!!

Shelbie started softball this month and doing very well. She's making new friends and she's out enjoying the fresh (windy) air!!

During her first game, Shelbie hit the ball both times she was up!!

Colton started eating bananas and avocados a couple weeks ago and he loves them.

We make quite the mess but then we clean him up with a bubble bath.

Going Green!!

We've decided to go green and go cloth!!

Our visit with Grandma and Grandpa Granger

Colette and Rolf came to visit us, it was great to see them. We went to Tokyo House for dinner, watched the Super Bowl and enjoyed the nice weekend together. Colton rolled over for the first time for them!!

Christmas! Tis' the season...

This year we spent Christmas at home in our new home which was great, but we sure did miss Shelbie. It was Shelbie's turn to spend the holiday with her dad. Christmas just wasn't the same without her. After opening our presents Christmas morning we went to Grant's dad's and step-mom's for Christmas Lasagna then came home and enjoyed a nice fire and each others company.

Welcoming Colton Rodney!

Colton was born 3 weeks early on September 17th, 2009.

8 pounds 6 ounces, 20.5 inches long

Poor little man had a rough journey, the doctor had to use a vacuum to

get him out and Colton ended up with quite the sore on his head.

Two days after we were released we had to be readmitted to fight Colton's jaundice. After 5 days of being in the hospital, Colton and I finally got to come home, again.

We're 29 weeks and getting uncomfortable.

If I am this uncomfortable, I can only imagine how uncomfortable he is.

The heat (110+ degrees) is starting to take it's toll,

my feet look like Hamhocks, just ask Grant!!

I took the Glucose test today for Gestational Diabetes and I passed, bring on the sweets!!

25 Weeks, only 15 more to go.

Well, we've hit the 6 month mark and it's very obvious that our little one is rapidly growing.

We weren't going to find out the gender of the baby but the Dr. accidentally showed us at the 20 week appointment, so we figured we might as well confirm it and let everyone know, it's blue!! This pisture is of Colton's face, it's really hard to tell what's what.

With Grant and I both having big feet the poor baby doesn't stand a chance.
